Your Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form According to Your Astrological Sign
This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense enthusiasm across the fandom. Starting with the gradual reveal of newcomers ahead of the title's release, to trainers forming firm views on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.
With numerous of the Mega Evolutions showcasing distinctive designs that highlight their traits, one thought came to mind: How can connect this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a blend of intuition, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.
The Ram – Mega Camerupt
To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was almost selected for this fire sign, as both are the Super Form and astrological sign that inspire the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom comes across as always furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being fun, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Remain on the friendly side of both and enjoy a strong ally; if you cross them, prepare to get burned.
The Bull – Super Heracross
Much like a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross, both in its regular and Mega form, has assisted numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the creature and a Bull are also Fighting types, and – be it their trainer or a firm belief – will stand up for their side unwaveringly. The thing about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unabashed passion for snacks. Several past Pokédex entries mention their fondness for tasty tree sap and how it employs its horn to hoard it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.
Gemini – Super Medicham
Look at this absolute queen. You cannot tell me this creature is not the soul of every party, providing an endless stream of chatter to those who wants to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to predict an enemy’s future actions, which seems very similar to a people-smart Gemini.
Cancer – Super Manectric
Cancer is commonly considered as the most emotional member of the zodiac, a passionate sign famous for often becoming wrapped up in their feelings. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge amount of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab crash-out. It is also recognized for its capability to make a storm cloud over its very head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.
Leo – Mega Starmie
Well, did you think I was going to pick Pyroar for the king of the zodiac? Besides the fact that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose legs just went viral for being extremely glamorous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s exactly the identical vibe a Lion offers to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be broadcasting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be putting on a show, albeit for extraterrestrials.
Virgo – Mega Victreebel
The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being endearingly judgmental is clearly mirrored across this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked face like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s just like the symbol a Maiden posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than creating a strategy.
Libra – Mega Audino
Look at this gentle, sensitive creature, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to maintain the peace, there are many Scales who would likely benefit from Super Audino's abilities. Though, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to worry even more about others.
Scorpio – Mega Banette
Banette is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through sheer hatred and vowed retribution on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpion loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.
Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha
Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a performance. As a Sagittarius personally, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius match I can imagine.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Were you aware that a Super Absol has the ability to foresee calamities in advance? That gives the identical vibe as a Goat, who often always believe they’re correct. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.
Aquarius – Mega Chandelure
Aloof element Aquarius is possibly the non-fire placement that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are countless memes about the Archer and Water Bearer being chaotic accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s dual Ghost/Fire typing fits seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s overall intimidating aura is also extremely Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “draws in hatred and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
