Recent Particulars Come to Light About the Finding of the Bodies of Rob and Michele Reiner Bodies
New information has come to light about the untimely passing of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and visual artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were discovered at their Los Angeles home property on Sunday.
The Discovery
A source indicates referencing a family associate, a therapist arriving for an session initially became concerned after failing to get inside the house. The therapist then contacted the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives nearby.
Upon entering the residence, Romy found her father's body. Reports state she then left the home distraught, not realizing at that moment that her mother's body was also inside. Another individual who had accompanied her promptly called 911. Afterward, first responders found Michele Singer Reiner's body.
Criminal Charges
Authorities have charged the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of first-degree murder, along with the alleged use of a deadly weapon, reportedly a knife. He is currently detained without bail.
Clarifications
The person close to the family questioned several previously reported details. It was stated that while Romy Reiner told emergency responders that her brother Nick lived in a separate structure on the property, she did not identify him as a suspect at that juncture.
